Work From Home Opportunity Gone Mobile…
Work from home opportunities have been the rage for as long as I can remember. As an entrepreneur, I can certainly understand the appeal these “work from home” opportunities present to those of us who crave freedom from the standard 9 to 5.
My name is Greg and in this blog I’d like to present you with an alternative to the work from home way of thinking while at the same time share with you an opportunity that far out weighs the benefits of working from home. Why not consider a position that gives you the freedom to schedule your own hours. Work when you want, where you want and as much as you want. Meet and interact with a wide variety of people from all walks of life. And best of all, enjoy an opportunity to earn a full-time income while working part-time hours. Explore the possibilities that becoming a part-time Lyft driver have to offer.
The Whole Truth and Nothing but the Truth
You may have heard a variety of different things about services such as Lyft and Uber. There are definitely pros and cons to working for such companies. My motivation in creating this site is to share with you my own personal experiences as a Lyft driver in order to give you the clarity to make the wisest decision for you and your family.
What’s your Motivation?
I applied to become a Lyft driver because my 14 year old son is a gifted pianist. My motivation for becoming a Lyft driver was to earn some extra cash to buy him a top-of-the line piano for Christmas, along with a few other gifts I had my eye on for my wife.
Consider changing your “work from home” mindset to a “work out of your home” mindset. Become a part-time Lyft Driver”
However the more I learned about Lyft and the more I spoke to other Lyft drivers the more I began to see that this “opportunity” had the potential to become so much more than just a means to an end. That end for me being extra Christmas money.
It’s important that you take the time to find out what your motivation is for becoming a Lyft driver BEFORE you begin the application process should you decide that this opportunity is for you. The information here will present aspects of the job that you may not have considered from someone who is an actual Lyft driver.
5 Ways to earn a fill-time income as a Lyft Driver
1 – As a Driver. More than likely this is the primary income earning model that you’ve been considering. Obviously the more time you devote to driving Lyft passengers, the more money you will make. But your income as a behind the wheel Lyft driver only scratches the surface when it comes to your income earning potential as a Lyft driver.
2 – Driver Referral Bonuses. There is a steep learning curve for those interested in becoming successful Lyft drivers. Insiders who have been successful in this business know all the tips and tricks to earning a great income as drivers but there is no Lyft driver manual that teaches you how to be a successful Lyft driver. Consequently, many who launch out in this business with high hopes of success but little knowledge of how to make the Lyft opportunity work for them throw their hands in the air and give up. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), the turnover rate for Lyft drivers is high.
Lyft is continually looking for new drivers and they are willing to pay you for every driver referral you make. Once you are approved as a Lyft driver you will be issued your very own referral code. Every time someone you refer applies through your referral link, is approved as a Lyft driver, and successfully completes the required number of rides within the specified number of days, both you and the new driver become eligible to receive a referral bonus.
How much can I earn by referring new drivers?
These referral bonuses vary anywhere from $10.00 to $750.00 for each new driver you refer depending on the market your referred driver works in. To get an idea of what you could be earning in referral bonus payouts from market to market click HERE. These referral bonus amounts change frequently. Bonus incentives are subject to Lyft Terms of Service.
Earn money as a Lyft driver without driving a single mile
There are Lyft drivers earning a substantial amount of money by simply referring others to apply as Lyft drivers WITHOUT TRANSPORTING A SINGLE PASSENGER! This method of earning an income through Lyft is a great way to supplement your income in the beginning of your Lyft career as you’re learning the ropes as a Lyft driver.
3 – Passenger Referral Bonuses. Lyft is currently offering it’s drivers $10.00 for every passenger referral they make. As a driver, simply pass out your referral code to new Lyft passengers. When the first time rider enters your referral code during the payment process, they will receive a $50 Lyft ride credit and you will receive $10.00 cash!
4 – Tips. Unlike Uber, Lyft gives the customer the opportunity to tip the driver through the Lyft app. The power of tips cannot be underestimated. A good, customer service oriented Lyft driver can earn a substantial amount in tips each week.
5 – Promoting your Lyft business to businesses. Some of your Lyft passengers will be from out of town. They’re unfamiliar with the area. Some will want to know where the best restaurants and attractions are in the area in which they are staying. This is your opportunity to strike up business relationships with business owners and offer to promote the best businesses in the area to your Lyft customers. Many business owners will pay you for the customers you bring to them. Some will offer perks (free drinks, free meals etc.). In any case, these business to business relationships can be a huge addition to your income earning potential.
So how do you take advantage of such an amazing offer?
Your first step is to click HERE to see the cities and countries where Lyft is currently available. After locating your city, click HERE and complete the “Apply Now” section on the Lyft website. Underneath the phone number box be sure to place the referral code “GREGORY37524” (if it hasn’t automatically been added in the box). After you’re approved as a Lyft driver, you will be required to complete a certain amount of rides during a specified number of days of your eligibility as a driver. The number of rides required and the number of days to complete these rides varies from city to city. Once you complete the required number of rides, you will receive your referral bonus.
